GS1 France is an international, neutral, not-for-profit organisation created by companies to facilitate and automate exchanges between trading partners using a unique identification system that is recognised and used worldwide.
With more than 57,000 member companies in France of all sizes and in all sectors, and more than 2 million worldwide, GS1 offers a genuine forum for collaboration and inclusion, enabling common rules - standards - to be defined and adopted for the benefit of all.
With GS1 standards, companies can uniquely identify their products, logistics units, locations, entities and assets throughout their lifecycle, whatever the sales channel.
